Hi Guys,
Well I cannot believe but have been in my new little world for 8 weeks now, that's a whole two months! So much for me keeping you informed on what I get up to every day, but my life has just been so busy! Every weekend since I made my appearance I have had friends and family coming to visit, so lots and lots of cuddles for me!
This weekend was no exception as I got to meet my gorgeous Auntie Jackie (remember I nearly shared the same birthday as her?) She was just as lovely as Mummy had said. She bought me a beautiful dress to wear when I am older and gave me lost of kisses and cuddles! I loved that she sang to me just like Mummy does (only better, but sssh don't tell Mummy that!) My favourite song was 'Man in the Mirror' that was particularly lovely! I am looking forward to going up to see her in Liverpool and see the sights of a big city. I also know that Daddy is keen to take me to Anfield, but I think I maybe just a little young at the moment!
So I bet you are wondering what I have been up to! Well where do I begin? So much has happened and Mummy and Daddy say I have changed so much in these two months. Everyday is exciting for me as I learn, see or hear something new!
Mummy is my source of food and to start with we went up to my Nursery to feed but now we are quite professional in fact when I went to visit Nuna and Pops I had my first pub lunch! Since then I have also been to Maccie D's, Frankie and Benny's and only yesterday I went to Jamie Oliver's restaurant! Mummy has also started to express now which means Daddy gets to feed me and I really love this special time with Daddy. I love when Daddy comes home as Mummy and I miss him in the day and now I know that him walking through the door means dinner! I don't have any problems with the bottle I know exactly what to do, in fact I even try to help Daddy hold it!
I have really enjoyed meeting all my family and friends, but as there are so many different people I don't remember everyone just yet, but I will in time. Having such a lot of friends and familly has meant that I have been overwhelmed with kisses and cuddles, which is great! It can be tiring seeing lots of new faces and experiencing new things and it can make me sleepy, but as I am getting older I am able to take in a lot more and not get so tired so quickly.
This weekend was great as I was out all day on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday Mummy, Daddy and I had a special day together as it was the first Saturday day where it was just the three of us. So went went into Witney and Daddy and I let Mummy spend some time alone clothes shopping. I think I worried Daddy a little as I was screaming quite loudly in the middle of town, but once he changed my nappy I was absolutely fine. After some lunch at Frankie and Benny's we went to families Day on camp. Mummy and I got to go on aircraft that Daddy would fly on when he goes away, I think it was called a C 17, it certainly was very big!
I went through a tricky time with my tummy when I was three weeks old, I got bad pains and it made me cry a lot in the evening. This upset Daddy and Mummy as they didn't like to see me in pain. They tried everything but sometimes the only thing that worked was Mummy rocking me to sleep. In the last week I haven't had this pain and I hope it doesn't come back as it wasn't very nice, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
Talking of fingers I am quite clever now as I can grab onto things, in fact only this morning I grabbed Mummy's hair, it feels strange between my fingers. I am not sure Mummy liked it though as she kept asking me to let go!
In this last week I have really learnt how to smile and I love when people talk to me and pull funny faces as I try to copy. Mummy and Daddy talk to me all the time and I talk back to them but at the moment they don't understand me, so I need to practice a bit more. The one thing they do understand is when I cry and they are very good at finding out what is wrong with me!
Well all being well I with catch up with you all tomorrow!
Lots of love

The journey here...
Hi guys,
Well as I am sure you are all aware I arrived safely into the world on April 19th 2010. I would have written sooner but life has been so hectic over the last few days, I just haven't found the time! Before I tell you all about what I have been up to I will fill you in on what on happened on that special day that I finally got to meet my Mummy and Daddy...
It was quite a strange day on the 19th April. Mummy had definately resigned herself to the fact that I was going to need help arriving and that she and Daddy would have to wait until the 27th April to meet me, as it turned out mother nature had different plans for me..
Aunty Laura, Nannie and my cousins Lily and Olivia came to visit us that very afternoon and we had a lovely lunch together in the garden (I particularly enjoyed the donuts!) Lily was playing and singing 'We want Peanut! We want Peanut!' to Mummy and Daddy. I heard Aunty Laura say that it will happen when Mummy least expects it.
After a lovely couple of hours together they had to leave to make their way back home. Immediately after they left Mummy went to the toilet and the strangest thing happened I began to move and the water that had surrounded me for 9 months started to trickle away. I heard Mummy calling frantically for Daddy but I don't think he heard her as he was in the garden. Eventually he came upstairs and Mummy said she thought her waters had broke. Daddy remained calm and looked in the toilet he agreed with Mummy and told her to call the hospital.
The hospital asked Mummy to describe the colour of the water, when she said it was green the hospital asked her to come in right away. Mummy told Daddy that I may have emptied my bowels because I was stressed, I wasn't though I was enjoying my time inside but was a little anxious to come out. Daddy remained very calm and the first thing he did was call Nuna and Pops to tell them I was on my way, on hearing this I got very excited. Then Daddy made sure we had everything and then we were on on way to the hospital. When Daddy phoned Aunty Laura to tell her the news she couldn't believe that it happened minutes after they had left!
When we got to the hospital at 15:30 we weren't sure where to go as the admissions office was closed and there was no one at the reception desk. Luckily somebody came and showed Mummy and Daddy into a room. A Midwife called Maria checked Mummy out and put her on a machine so they could listen to my heartbeat and make sure that I was okay. She explained that there were a lot of Mummys due to give birth so once they had a free room Mummy would be moved. Daddy did make me laugh because after an hour of waiting around with nothing happening he was already bored! As it turned out we ended up waiting for 5 hours before we were moved and saw another 3 Midwives in that time! Nuna and Pops arrived at 17:30 armed with food supplies which was great as Mummy and I were starving! Nuna was surprised Pops hadn't recieved a speeding ticket since he had driven so fast to get here!
At 20:20 we were moved into another private room and this is where my adventure into my new world would begin. We had another Midwife called Liz and she said all being well she would be welcoming me into this world as her shift didn't finish until 08:00 the following morning. She worried Mummy and everyone a little when she said she wasn't sure about something and then she went off to check! After she found out Liz explained that as contractions hadn't started Mummy would go on a drip that would give Mummy a hormone that would encourage the contractions to start. Unfortunately she hurt Mummy's hand as she couldn't get the needle in and she had to call someone else in to do it!
The hormone was pumped into Mummy intially at 8ml per hour and it was to be doubled every half an hour. Pops had to remind Liz when to put the dosage up as she kept forgetting! When she left the room Pops joked if she was actually a real Midwife! Whilst Mummy was on the drip Liz kept asking Mummy if she felt any pain and Mummy said no and that she felt fine. It became a joke then as everyone wanted Mummy to feel pain as labour wasn't meant to be pain free!
When the dosage went up to 64ml an hour Mummy began to feel uncomfortable and was offered some pain relief in the form of gas and air. The gas and air made Mummy feel like she was drunk she did make me laugh because she was slurring her words after the first intake of gas and air saying she was drunk and laughing. The gas and air made the contractions a little easier for Mummy but it also made her feel sick. Because of this Mummy was very brave and only used the gas and air for every other contraction, unfortunately after it while it eventually made Mummy sick.
The contractions were getting stronger and the Midwife said that Mummy could have some stronger pain relief. She said Mummy could have an epidural or a meptid injection, Mummy chose to have the meptid injection. This didn't stop Mummy's pain but it became more bearable. It was now around 4.30 am on the 19th April and everyone was exhausted, including little old me, Pops had even ran out of jokes and was fallling alseep. The Midwife advised Daddy to get some sleep as Mummy would need him with full energy later in the morning. So Nuna got on the bed with Mummy and helped Mummy breath through the contractions. After an hour and half Nuna and Daddy swapped, as Daddy hadn't been able to sleep as he was too excited! Mummy told Daddy that the injection was wearing off as the contractions were beginning to get stronger and feel more painful. Mummy decided at this point she now wanted the epidural, so at 6.20 Daddy called for the Midwife.
The next two hours were very difficult for Mummy as the midwife and the anethestist were busy. At one point an anethestist came to the room but couldn't help Mummy as the midwife wasn't there! So unfortuntely for Mummy she had to endure the next two hours without any pain relief except gas and air. Mummy was very brave, but I think the pain was too much as I heard her saying she couldn't do it. Daddy reassured her and told her to think about the end result - me!
Finally around 08:40 when the epidural was put in and began to take effect Mummy felt much better. Although she lost the feeling in her legs and when her leg fell off the bed she had to ask Daddy to put it back on! This made everyone else happy as Nuna, Pops and Daddy didn't like seeing Mummy in pain. Everyone was definately excited because I could hear them talking about what colour eyes and hair I would have, and whether I was a girl or boy. Everyone except for Daddy thought I was a girl. Liz the Midwife left as her shift ended and two very nice and friendly Midwives took her place. Louise was a Student Midwife and and Lisa was fully qualified. Everyone had yet another guess at what time they thought I would arrive Mummy thought 11:30, Pops thought 12:34, Nuna thought it would be lunchtime and Daddy thought it would be 12:30.
Both Lisa and Louise checked Mummy over and said that I was still in the wrong position so they told her to lay on her side. I tried moving to where I should be but I found quite tricky. After a long night finally at 11:15 they said that it was time for Mummy to start pushing. I was really excited at this point as I knew it wouldn't be long before I got my first cuddle from Mummy and Daddy! I felt a little clip placed on my head and this was so everyone could hear my heartbeat to make sure I was doing okay. It made a loud knocking noise which was my strong heartbeat. Daddy made a joke and said that I was making a wooden boat in Mummy's belly!
Mummy was really good and tried really hard with the pushing and Daddy was really proud of her, but after an hour Lisa and Louise checked Mummy over and said I had moved a little bit but not enough. They had to get a Doctor in for a second opinion. The Doctor agreed I was in the wrong position and wouldn't be able to come out without some help. They said that they would need to turn me with forceps and then Mummy would be able to push me out.
I know Mummy was a little nervous but I felt sure it would be okay as the Doctor sounded like she knew what she was talking about. They wheeled Mummy out of the room and into the operating theatre, sadly for Nuna and Pops only Daddy was allowed to go in with Mummy.
I could hear lots of voices in the operating theatre all introducing themselves to Mummy. Mummy had to have a general anesthetic in case they couldn't turn me and they would have to get me out of Mummy's tummy by a c section. Finally I heard Daddy's voice and he sat next to Mummy and held her hand. Then I felt something cold on either side of my head and felt myself move, I thought this must be it it is finally happening. The Doctor told Mummy that with two pushes I would be here. As Mummy was under anesthetic she couldn't feel contractions so Lisa told her to push with all her might and Mummy certainly did that. Lisa told Mummy and Daddy that she could see my head. I heard Daddy say to Mummy this is it babe after this next push we will have our baby, both Mummy and Daddy began to cry. Lisa told Mummy to push again and then all of a sudden I was out of Mummy's tummy and felt cold. The next moment I felt warm as I was placed on my Mummy's tummy. I couldn't focus properly but I could hear Daddy say to Mummy, 'It's a baby girl!' Then both my Mummy and Daddy began to cry again. Someone took me away from my Mummy and began to take a closer look at me. They called my Daddy over and he saw them put pipes into my nose and mouth to make sure no bad stuff was in there.
They put me in a bowl and weighed me, I could hear Lisa say to Mummy that I was a big girl at 9lb 12! Afterwards they handed me to Daddy and he said something that he had said to me the whole time I was in Mummy's belly - 'Peanut it's Daddy.' I opened my eyes and tried to focus on my Daddy. I felt a warm feeling inside this was MY Daddy the man who would take care of me in my new world. He carried me over to Mummy and placed me in my Mummy's arms, I looked at my Mummy too and felt that warm fuzzy feeling again. After 9 months of waiting I had finally got to meet my Mummy and Daddy....

Ray of sunshine..
Hi guys,
Well today was a day filled with lots of sunshine but I know Mummy and Daddy would have forfeited this to go to the hospital and wait for their own ray of sunshine to arrive - namely me! But unfortunately that wasn't to be!
Well we had a lie in today and Mummy and Daddy just chilled out watching the usual saturday morning TV - 'Soccer AM'! I do like when Mummy and Daddy take it easy because I feel relaxed too. I know it was particularly strange for them this weekend as they were expecting me to have been here by now, but I am glad that they made the most of time together.
After lunch Daddy got busy and spent a few hours in the garden mowing the lawn and weeding. Daddy is funny because when he sets his mind on something he has to do it there and then, he even missed the football on the telly because he wanted it doing and out of the way! So Mummy and I just relaxed and waited for Daddy to finish, so we could go and enjoy the sunshine in the garden.
Unfortunately for Daddy we had to go into Witney for a few things - Daddy is not a big fan of shopping or shops in general (unless of course he is buying something for himself!) I think Mummy did really well as she made a list of the things we needed and the places we had to go to make the trip for Daddy less painful. Mummy quickly found the things she needed, but this still wasn't quick enough for Daddy as he started to huff a little. He told Mummy that when I eventually come along he will wait with me outside and stroll up the High Street. Mummy said it just would be far easier for Mummy and I to come shopping alone and leave Daddy at home!
When we got back my other Aunty Jacqui came to visit it us. I feel very special and lucky as she bought me a basket full of baby things and some books and chocolate for Mummy. We all sat out in the garden in the sunshine and Mummy and Aunty Jacqui caught up over a glass of Tango! I think Daddy preferred that we were sitting in the garden as Mummy and Aunty Jacqui when they are together are very loud and a tendency to shout at each other rather than talk (well that it was Daddy says anyway!)
It was nice to listen to all the things that they were saying because again a lot of the conversation was about me! But it was also nice for Mummy to see Aunty Jacqui because it has been ages since they have seen each other properly. I think Mummy enjoyed sitting in the garden and catching some rays. Hopefully the sun will still be shining when I finally come along, if not I know Mummy and Daddy are taking me away to Portugal in September for our first family holiday.
Well I think all this sun has made me sleepy so it's time for my siesta,
Keeping all my little toes and fingers crossed that I will be out soon,

Officially one week late....
Hello Guys,
Well it's official I am ONE week late in making my grand entrance to the world and my adoring fans! Today is the date that Mummy and Daddy were first given for me to arrive, until my second scan when the Doctor said I was actually one week older! Well technically I could still arrive today if things start happening in the next 90 minutes!
Mummy was busy today cleaning the house, I think she was hoping it would get me moving! I do feel for her because when she watches TV she has to sit on a dining room chair to keep her back straight to encourage me to move back to my correct position, whereas as Daddy is stretched and sprawled out all the over the new sofa! Mummy and I loved snuggling up on the sofa watching TV and having the occasional cat nap!
Grandad Gardiner aka Granga came to see Mummy and Daddy today and he couldn't believe how much Mummy's belly had grown! I don't think Mummy and Daddy notice it as much now as they see it everyday, although Daddy was looking at Mummy earlier and said it will be strange when I finally arrive and Mummy's belly goes down. Mummy and Daddy laugh when they cuddle each other as they don't quite connect due to me getting in the way! But I like it as feel close to the two of them. Mummy also likes to snuggle up with Daddy in bed when I am moving so Daddy can feel me move too.
We all went for a walk this afternoon with Daisy. Mummy took it slower than normal as I had got myself in an awkward position and gave Mummy some pain, Daddy was worried but it soon passed and Mummy felt better.
Mummy finally caught up with my Aunty Jackie and they were on the phone for an hour and a half! My Mummy can talk for England but I guess you all know that! She is always talking to me or Daisy and sometimes to herself - she is funny! The conversation was mainly about me and how excited Aunty Jackie was about meeting me! She told Mummy she would love to share her birthday with me but knows that Mummy would prefer if I came sooner rather than later! Another friend of Aunty Jackie's and Mummy's called Cheryl also would like me to arrive on the 27th April as it is her birthday too - but we will just have to see what happens.
As Mummy was on the phone for so long Mummy and Daddy had a takeaway for tea - well little treats now and then don't do any harm! Daddy had a 'Super Burger' - I didn't get to try that as Mummy doesn't eat meat, so that will be a new taste to experience once I come out and move on from Mummy's milk.
Well I am feeling quite tired now after my 'Beanburger and chips!' so I will sign off..
Still hoping that I don't keep you all waiting too much longer,
Lots of Love Peanut xxxx

Not much happening...
Hi Guys,
Well another day in the comfort of Mummy's tummy...it is now starting to feel like forever...I think Mummy feels this way too, as lots of people are saying to her - 'Have you still not had that baby yet!?' When Mummy clearly still has a big belly that is blocking the view of her feet!!
Mummy and I didn't get up to much today. We had another lie in, as again Mummy didn't get much sleep in the night! Mummy wishes she could sleep as well as she does in the day, at night. Pops has told her not too worry about when she sleeps as long as she gets her sleep in! Everybody seems to be telling Mummy and Daddy that, as apparently when I arrive I will be keeping Mummy and Daddy on their toes and very busy! But I am sure they won't mind and I know that they will cope with everything that I throw at them!
Mummy organised the family calendar today that Nuna gave her. The calendar has a space for all of us including me and Daisy!! Mummy says we need it because when I arrive there will be lots going on and lots of people wanting to come and see me! We need to make sure that we get to see everybody, especially with Pops spending lots of time in Bahrain and Uncle Mikey and Aunty Jos living in Germany! The rest of our family and friends are spread out all over England. I know after such a long wait everyone is keen to see me and hopefully my Mummy and Daddy too!
Everyday Daddy goes into work he says he has everyone asking him when I am going to arrive - I feel so popular all these people asking after little old me! When Daddy came home from work today he had more of my presents that had arrived from America. You see I have a very special theme for my nursery - A Rainforest! I have birds, monkeys, tigers all over my walls, a musical mobile that plays sounds from the Rainforest, even my bouncer chair plays music and has a waterfall on it! I can't wait to see all my toys and meet all my new animal friends! I think Daisy is really funny because when Mummy and Daddy play any of my Rainforest toy sounds she sings along with them! I do feel sorry for our neighbours Jo and Lee because I think it may get a little bit noisy when I arrive and Daisy starts singing when I play with my toys!
Daddy took Mummy and I for our usual walk around Witney Lakes with Daisy this evening. I think this is something Mummy really enjoys as she gets out of the house and gets to see Daddy and they talk about all the lovely things that we are going to do as a family. I know Mummy really misses Daddy in the day and finds it strange not talking to him. But Mummy knows if she rings him he will panic and think that I am on my way!
Well I am off now as Mummy says there is history in the making about to start on TV..
Really hoping that I get to see you all very very soon,
Lots of love Peanut

It's 50/50...
Hi guys,
Well I don't think I need to tell you that I am in fact still here snuggled up in my Mummy's tummy! I think once I finally do arrive Mummy and Daddy will be singing from the rooftops!!
Talking of singing, Daddy was in very high spirits this morning (very unusual as he is usually a bit grumpy - he is not good with mornings you see!) He thought when his alarm went off it would be fun for him to start whistling and singing, Mummy however was not as impressed as she had hardly slept again! Mummy kept huffing and puffing as Daddy seemed to be doing everything extra loud this morning. I thought this may be a sign as Daddy predicted today would be the day that I arrive. He still has 4 hours of today left - will he be right I wonder?
Aunty Helen came to visit Mummy today which was nice. We went for a nice stroll around Witney Lakes and then Mummy and Helen went to Sainsburys to get some tasty things for lunch -mmh fresh tiger bread and some yummy chocolate cakes! It was funny because the lady at the till said to Mummy that her waters broke on the way back from Sainsburys and the water was sloshing around the car as they turned corners!! Mummy laughed at Aunty Helen because she looked concerned as we were travelling in Aunty Helen's car and not Mummy's!
After Aunty Helen left it was time for Mummy and Daddy to go and visit the Midwife - Tracey. She checked Mummy's blood pressure and it was fine. She had a feel of Mummy's tummy and as Mummy had thought I have moved and I am now laying back to back with Mummy. This is not the best position for me or Mummy as it will make it more painful and take longer for me to come out. So she told Mummy that she needs to crawl around on all fours to get me to move back to where I should be - Daddy found this highly amusing!
The Midwife made an appointment with the hospital for Mummy to be induced - this is where they help get me moving since at the moment not much is happening! We are booked in for the 27th April at the moment, but this may change depending if other Mummys give birth in the meantime. I know one person that would love me to arrive on the 27th April and that person is my Aunty Jackie since it is her birthday! I wouldn't mind sharing my birthday with her as I know she is a special friend of Mummy's- However I'm not sure Mummy and Daddy can wait that long though!
The Midwife said that I score 5/ 10 for coming out before then - so Mummy and Daddy have said it's 50/50. So that is it Mummy and Daddy now know that I will make an appearance between now and the 27th April. I for one hope that it is before then because I know Mummy and Daddy are desperate to meet me and I can tell you the feeling is very much mutual!
Well I'm off for a snooze now as it's been a busy day,
Hope to meet you all very soon,

Still here...still waiting..
Hello Guys,
Well as you have probably guessed I am still here and like the rest of you still waiting!! But a lot of people have been telling Mummy and Daddy that good things come to those who wait - well I certainly am good and definately worth the wait!
Mummy has taken tips and advice from lots of other Mummys to try and make me arrive, but as I am still in here I don't think they work. I think Mummy has now resigned herself to that fact now as well! As you know we having been going for lots of walks with Daisy, taking lots of baths (definately one of my favourite tips!) and drinking pineapple juice. Mummy did make me laugh because she was convinced she didn't like pineapple juice and was holding her nose to drink it! Daddy just said to her to try it because she might actually like it and do you know what she did!!
Yesterday Mummy also tried Clary Sage oil, this worked for some of Mummy's friends and Aunty Laura apparently, so Mummy was hoping it would do the trick. After buying it Mummy sniffed it and had a nice relaxing bath in it, but unfortunately nothing happened!! Mummy is not a fan of spicy or hot food but she even ate lots of jalapeno peppers yesterday as well! She was very brave and she went to the toilet in the night more often than normal because the peppers made her really thirsty!
I wish I could give Mummy and Daddy a date but like I said before I am none the wiser, I really want to come out now as well - just wish I could get this whole departure thing sussed! I think Daddy would have liked me to have arrived already as this afternoon he is going out on his friends leaving do. Apparently it's quite a special honour because it is in the Officer's Mess and my Daddy is only a Corporal, but unfortunately Daddy won't be able to drink in case I make an appearance! Mummy said to Daddy that he will now know what it has felt like for Mummy for the last nine months!
Cheryl, one of Mummy's friends gave Mummy some advice and said that Mummy should start a really important job, as once she gets stuck in apparently I will be on my way! So Mummy has decided to clean her wardrobe out! I think this is a super idea as Mummy will need some new clothes after I have arrived and it will be an excuse for Daddy to take Mummy and I shopping!
So with that I am off now to help Mummy clear her wardrobe!
Take care and keep everything crossed that I arrive soon - I know I am!!
Lots of Love Peanut xx
